The Chase for Worldly power and loss of focus were the main causes for the decline of the Muslims states the rulers became increasingly despotic, with only a few exceptions.The nobility and officials also followed in the footsteps of the rulers.Education and the quest for Knowledge, which had Made them Dynamic and Successful Previously ,were not given the same importance.As a result the growth and Development of these people slowed down to an alarming extent.
Politically, there were rivalries and corruption which weakened the states making them dependent on the Europeans who had drown stronger as a result of their education, industry and increasing wealth.The Industrial Revolution in the West also made it rich and Powerful.
By the end of the 19th Century, the Muslim world was completely dominated by Europe which gradually colonized these Countries.
However the Common Muslim people gained an important insight ---- as a result of the political revolutions in Europe ,they became aware of their rights.Although Islam itself guarantees human rights in the best possible way, this aspect had been overshadowed by despotic rulers and harsh regimes , both Muslim and Non-Muslim.
Slowly , the Muslims began to awaken, and as some of them acquired Worthwhile education a Number of Important personalities emerged on the Scene as leaders.
